Families often lament feeling blindsided by the intensity of their baby's needs beyond the newborn period.

Why did nobody tell us?

It’s an all-too-common refrain.

To help address this apparent gap in messaging, we asked our peer support group members to share their wisdom on what they believe would have helped set them up for a less stressful time with their baby or toddler by enhancing realistic expectations for feeding and sleeping beyond the 4th trimester.

Our founder, Carly Grubb, highlighted the key elements identified in her presentation at the 2022 CAPEA Conference on the Sunshine Coast this week, but with so much to take in, we wanted to offer a brief summary of the presentation and with a bonus of some sample professional scripts you may find useful as you try to weave these wisdoms and messages into your conversations across the perinatal period.

If you do find value in these resources, we'd humbly ask you to consider making a donation to our organisation to ensure we have the ability to keep bringing these kinds of rich learnings to you.
